Department of English Language

The Department of English Language at the College of Education – University of Gilgamesh is a specialized academic department dedicated to preparing qualified educational cadres with strong linguistic and pedagogical competencies in English. The department aims to develop students’ skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, in addition to English literature, translation, and linguistics. It also seeks to qualify students to use English proficiently in academic and professional contexts while enhancing their critical thinking and analytical skills through modern academic programs, advanced teaching methods, and effective field training aligned with local and international labor market needs.
